Winning is Not the Point of Life
The point of life is not to “win”
Like some obscure lottery
You entered when you were unhappy
The point of life is not to be “happy”
Like some maniac that is always happy
And is happy when they’re sad
Like a paradox
The point of life is not to be a “paradox”
Where you can’t decide on anything
And flip coins
On every decision
And then do it
The point of life is not to “do it”
Because what is “it”?
And nobody will tell you anyway
And if you ask somebody they will get angry with you
For being vague and poetic
The point of life is not to be “poetic”
You just get accustomed to sensory information
And you make a plan
That doesn’t work,
And you try something
And you try something else
And you accidentally find yourself
Caught in something
You can’t control
And you squirm
And you tell yourself “never again”
And you do it again
And you learn to love it
And you learn to be in it
